Beautiful dish from Mifuko for your soaps: The clever design of the square soap dish allows the water to drain into the bottom dish, making it easy to empty and allowing the soap to dry.

Please note that salt and soap products containing salt can attack the soapstone and break the bowl. Colored soap can discolor the bowl.

These products are hand-carved from natural soapstone in western Kenya, near Lake Victoria. Soapstone has a creamy white color with pink, grey or brown marbling. The raw soapstone is quarried by hand from pits dug with picks and shovels. The pits are then backfilled to minimize the impact on the landscape. After processing, the surface of the soapstone is smoothed with wet sandpaper.
