Good news for your breakfast table! This summer, HAY has introduced the brand new ceramic line “La Pittura” – surprising and full of life. Designed by the American artist Emma Kohlmann, it brings a touch of poetry and painting to the table. With “La Pittura”, HAY has pulled off a coup between everyday life and the studio. Plates, bowls and jugs bear Kohlmann’s characteristic flowing lines and intuitive shapes – inspired by Tuscan ceramics and museum visits. The series is produced in Sri Lanka – each piece is painted by hand and each one is unique. The result is tableware that tells stories: of color and movement, of the beauty of the irregular, of the interplay between art and use. “La Pittura” has been available since this summer – exclusive and as fresh as the first morning sun.
