“To give people back the power of nature, from which we all come, but which we have lost in modern times. To create warmth and light from candles with stories.” This was and is the simple and honest mission with which Elina Cima created the Munio Candela Studio and the first collection of candles in 2008. Following the rapid growth of the global markets, the two sisters Laura and Liene joined the studio, which is now a steadily growing family business. Munio Candela means “the most spiritually powerful candle” in Latin. Each candle is carefully and lovingly made by hand, using only 100% natural soy wax and fragrances. The nature of the north is captured in Munio Candela candles, which are handmade by Latvian master craftsmen.
