While industrial agriculture was booming in the 1960s, the Mahler family in Eichberg in the canton of Aargau countered this with sustainable, exclusively organic cultivation of their land. As a result, Mahler & Co. is now a hit throughout Switzerland with a wide range of products of the freshest organic quality. But the Mahlers have gone even further by focusing on ecological principles and social concerns in all aspects of the company – from procurement to distribution, shipping and packaging. This includes, for example, offsetting all CO2 emissions and reducing food waste.
